No matter how hard we try or how motivated we are, we can all suffer from a severe case of workout laziness. Many advise to buy cute sports gear to feel pretty and motivated to workout, but still, skipping workouts is, what seems to be unavoidable.
Going to the gym isn’t all about sculpting muscles and getting fit (not skinny), it is one of the best and quickest ways to unwind and let go of the stress. But when you have no time to hit the gym, you shouldn’t let go of your healthy habits. So instead of letting laziness stop you from having a fit body, here are 5 super easy workouts you can incorporate into your daily activities for when you’re too lazy to hit the gym.
1- When you brush your teeth
While brushing your teeth, you can do what is called : wall squats. You will need to stand against a wall, with your legs hip width open, and bend your knees in order to reach a seated position. Hold the position for 20 seconds, and start over. This exercise will tone thighs, glutes and the inner core.
2- When your are sitting
Whether you work at a desk or you are a stay at home mom, you can work your abs whenever you sit. you will only have to squeeze your abs for 20 seconds ( without holding your breath) and relax. Repeat for as long as you can go. You will notice your abs getting stronger and your stomach getting flatter, without a drop of sweat!
3- Walk a mile in your shoes
You will literally have to walk a mile or more in your own shoes. If you are a commuter, try to get off the bus, or the subway, one or two stops before yours, and walk home. You will burn calories without even noticing, plus you will probably get the chance to discover new places in your city.
4- Take the stairs
Whenever you are given the choice, always go for a ride on the stairs. Sure you will go faster with the lifter, but the stairs will help you workout your glutes, thighs and calves. And to make the exercise more efficient, climb the stairs on your tippy toes.
